Edrine Keegan RADRTS principal 

Edrine (Karmi) has over 50 years of teaching experience. She is a life member of the Royal Academy of Dance and teaches the Ballet classes at the school. As the principal she oversees all the classes and contributes choreography in all genres and produces all the end of year concerts. Her dressmaking skills come in handy when creating costumes for our concert and her love of dance is evident when she passes on her vast knowledge to the students. She started this school in 1983, but was teaching for many years before that. 

In 2026 Edrine was awarded the Royal Academy of Dance Community Engagement Dance Teacher Award. 

The award acknowledges a teacher’s “exceptional contribution in using dance as a tool for social interaction, empowerment and positive change within the community.”

 

Birrali Flintoff RADRTS 

Birrali (Miss Bib) is the Jazz and tap teacher for the school. She has over 25 years of teaching experience and has a dance school in Injune.  She is a qualified teacher in RAD, SFD, Comdance, Glenwood tap and is accredited in Acro Dance. She has completed her ballet in exams up to Advanced Foundation and is working towards her Advanced 1. Miss Bib also teaches the baby ballet class (Dance play) and jazz and tap. 


Lucy Jury 

Miss Lucy started her dancing career at the Edrine Keegan school of ballet when she was 2, and over the years she completed exams up to Intermediate in RAD. Miss Lucy has choreographed many eisteddfod pieces for students and this year steps into our faculty as our contemporary teacher. She  loves to choreograph pieces that have meaning and expression and choreographs for all ages. Her passion for dance is evident in both her performances and choreography. 

Rob Lee 

 

Mr Rob is the assistant Acro teacher. With his gymnastics training he brings knowledge to the students and gives them helpful tips on how to achieve thier goals in class. Mr Rob's daughter is a student at the dance school and he is a scout leader with Roma scouts.
